Kicked Out
Written by Beth Goobie
Published 2002 by Orca Book Publishers
Fiction

Kicked Out is about a girl named Dime, who goes to live with her brother because she and her parents are always fighting, and she's doing badly in school and they think they will make things better.
Dime lives with her parents and her and her parents fight constantly. They soon decide to get Dime to live with her older brother who is in a wheelchair. But if she lives there she will have to cook for him. She decides to live with him and well she is there she is having troubles with her boyfriend, and his ex girlfriend. She starts doing a lot better in school and things start changing for her.
I didnt really like this book because there wasnt anything to look forward to that you would have had to wait till the end to find it. They would tell u something exciting and a few chapters later they would give you the answer. I didnt like the ending either cause they wasnt really a surprise or anything that shocked you, it was just plain. Also the way everything happened wasnt really realistic like the way Dime always fought with her parents so when I was reading it, it just seemed kind of silly.
I would have to give this book one bookmark out of five.
